In 2015… Do YOU Have A Dream!

I Have A Dream…

2014 is but a memory now, but…

I have a Dream…

That in 2015, I will impact the lives of people all around the world and help them let go of the PAST so they can grab hold of the incredible future 2015 has opened up for them.

I have a Dream…

of speaking before audiences comprised of people who are ready to take action and move forward as never before in life! People who need a Drill Sergeant who will lead them to victory on the Battlefield of Life!

I have a Dream…

That, instead of my sisters crying themselves to sleep at night from the pressure of perceived failures and mistakes, they will instead laugh themselves to sleep because they made it one more day!

I have a Dream…

That my brother and sister veterans will take their rightful stance in today’s business world and utilize the skills of operation and leadership they learned while serving this great country.

I have a Dream…

What is your dream today? What did you picture 2015 being that 2014 was not? You can have your dream for 2015!

When Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., first gave this speech in August of 1963, I never imagined I would have a dream that sometimes seems so lofty as to be unreal. But, just as Dr. King’s Dream is being realized each and every day on this earth, so can your dream…

… of success,

… impacting the lives of others,

… of not only surviving, but thriving in life!

Be realized.

What is your Dream for 2015? Will you allow The Drill Sergeant of Life to help you realize your Dream?

Don’t let your Dreams die with the passing of another year.

You can have what you want. It’s going to take work, yes, but, it will be worth it!

Say it!

Believe it!

Live it!

The Drill Sergeant of Life is here for you!

God Is Faithful!

A Veteran’s Day Salute

Beatrice Bruno – My journey begins

Happy Veteran’s Day!

On October 14, 1976, I was sworn into Army Service at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I was 17 years old and signed up through the Delayed Entry Program which meant I wouldn’t be able to attend basic training until after my 18th birthday on January 21, 1977. It was one of the proudest moments of my life!

Finally, I would serve something much bigger than Beatrice!

As I look back through all those years to when I was given the privilege and opportunity to serve as a US Army Soldier, I am still proud. I now realize that those were some of the best times of my life. When I look back at my military service, I experience many emotions, some of which are joy, peace, and hope.

1. Joy – for the honor of being one of the few that wore that uniform. To be able to travel to different countries, representing my country, the United States of America and all we stood for.

2. Peace – because of the service of myself and other service members. We were charged with keeping our land and other lands at peace, even if it meant giving the ultimate sacrifice.

3. Hope – for the new horizons in front of me because I had a hand in keeping our nation free to experience all we are experiencing right now.

One of my greatest assignments besides serving as a Drill Sergeant was while serving with the United States Europe and 33rd Army Band and Chorus. We brought so much joy to audiences all over Europe while still serving as part of the peace-keeping forces in Europe. While serving as a Singing Soldier, we sang songs like the following but I don’t remember our having this much fun!

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

As you celebrate this Veteran’s Day, celebrate those who made it and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. If I had it to do all over again, I would. I love these United States and appreciate the freedoms we are afforded.

Stand up for the American fighting man and woman. Be proud of what they represent! Support them with all your heart and pass these sentiments forward!

I salute those who served and are still serving! Will you salute them with me?

In closing, please allow this song to remind you of what I constantly think about every time I see Old Glory waving in the breeze of freedom:

God Bless the USA

Hug or Salute a Veteran today!

God Is Faithful!
